Trace and Din are reunited after Din was shipped off to assist in an on-the-field exercise with a whole bunch of soldiers. After nearly losing her life, she returns to Trace, knowing full well the facility they work for and live in may not be around much longer. Din confronts Trace for one firm conversation about how they feel about each other -- something Trace has been actively trying to avoid for maybe a bit too long.

"11.5" is a part of the Tales from Planet XX series available on Slipshine. (Note: Membership required to read.) Though the series hasn't updated since early 2020, I wanted to provide something that could act either way as a conclusion and as a hint of things to come, should the series resume.
